For too long, bad trade deals have squeezed the middle class, manufacturing, and damaged our national security. I believe tariffs are an important tool to support American workers, and when used strategically to fight cheap steel from China, tariffs".

The following day, April 5, 2025, Budzinski shared her experience meeting with members of the National Association of Workforce Boards, discussing workforce development in her district. She commented, "It was great to meet with some of my constituents from the National Association of Workforce Boards! We talked about how we can support workforce development in #Il13, especially with the upcoming reauthorization of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act."
