Central defeated the Illinois College women's soccer team 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon at England Stadium in Jacksonville, Illinois. Both teams played a scoreless first half before Central scored twice within three minutes early in the second period, with goals coming at the 52:52 and 55:02 marks.
Illinois College recorded more shots than Central, finishing with a 13-9 advantage. Katy Adler led all players with five shots, while Jourdan Stevens contributed two for the Lady Blues. In goal, Stella Gonzalez made nine saves on nine shots faced for Illinois College.

The Lady Blues will travel east for two matches over the weekend. They are scheduled to play Manchester on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CST and Kalamazoo College on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. CST.
