The Illinois College women's tennis team secured a 7-0 win against Southwest Illinois College on Thursday at the SWIC Tennis Courts in Belleville, Illinois. This result brings the Lady Blues' season record to 4-3.
In doubles play, Illinois College swept all three matches. Alyssa Wise and Clara Bach won at No. 1 doubles, Sophie Muir and Lily Ingram claimed victory at No. 2, while Morgan Keefe and Sophi Barrow took the win at No. 3.
The team continued its strong performance in singles, winning all six matches in straight sets. Victories came from Wise (No. 1), Bach (No. 2), Muir (No. 3), Lily Ingram (No. 4), Keefe (No. 5), and Sabrina Ingram (No. 6).
Illinois College will begin Midwest Conference play on Saturday with an away match against Lake Forest scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
