The Illinois College clay target team began its 2025 season at the Jacksonville Sportsman Club, participating in the first week of the USA Clay Target League. The event was marked by a notable achievement from Ann Feldhake, who recorded a perfect score in the trap competition by hitting all 50 targets. Feldhake had previously been recognized as an all-conference honoree.

Following Feldhake in trap scores were Hannah Hopper with 47, Adam Stuckemeyer with 46, and Andrew Magnus with 45. In the sporting clays category, Magnus led the team with a score of 45, followed by Stuckemeyer’s 42. For skeet, Hopper posted the top score for Illinois College at 48, while Korina Hecht scored 44 and Feldhake achieved a score of 43.

The team will continue weekly competitions until October 22. The fall portion of their season is scheduled to end with the National Championships from October 31 to November 2.

"Highlighting the opening week was a perfect score by Ann Feldhake in the trap competition. Feldhake, an all-conference honoree last year, picked up where she left off by hitting all 50 targets."
