Illinois State Representative Mike Coffey (R-Springfield) attended the Greater Chamber of Commerce Elected Officials Reception in Springfield, where he met with local community leaders. Coffey emphasized the importance of collaboration, stating, "It’s my priority to establish and build relationships with people who care about improving the state of Illinois with long-term solutions that lower taxes, expand opportunities, and policies that put Illinois citizens first."

Coffey was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 as a Republican representing the state's 95th House District. He succeeded Tim Butler as the district's representative.
