Macie Petropoulos has been named the SLIAC Women's Golf Player of the Week for the third time this season following her performance at the Dechert Classic. Petropoulos finished in third place after a scorecard playoff, having tied for second with a two-day total that included a tournament low-round of 78 on day two, following an opening round of 85.
With this result, Petropoulos has achieved five top-five finishes in her first six tournaments and holds a scoring average of 79.33 over nine rounds.
The Illinois College Lady Blues are set to compete in the SLIAC Conference Championships this coming weekend at Birch Creek Golf Club in St. Louis, Missouri.
