For the fourth consecutive meet this season, Caroline Peters led the Illinois College women's cross country team at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational, held Saturday at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Illinois.
Peters finished 61st overall with a time of 27:26.9. Bailey Downing was the second finisher for Illinois College, placing 69th overall with a time of 28:09.2. Claire Peters came in third for the team and finished 76th overall in 28:50.3. Ashley Watson completed the scoring for Illinois College by finishing 93rd overall with a time of 30:23.4.
The next event for the Lady Blues will be the Cowbell Classic in Elsah, Illinois, on October 18th. The race is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
