Lake Forest College's women's soccer team secured a 4-2 win against Illinois College in a Midwest Conference match held Saturday at Farwell Field. The result marked the first conference loss for Illinois College this season, leaving them with a record of 6-6-2 overall and 2-1 in conference play. Lake Forest maintained its unbeaten streak, improving to 12-0 overall and 2-0 in the MWC.

The Foresters took control early, scoring three goals in the first half and carrying that lead into halftime. In the second half, Illinois College attempted a comeback with Katy Adler scoring twice—first at the 54:23 mark and again just over a minute later—to narrow the deficit to one goal. However, Lake Forest added another goal in the 82nd minute to secure the victory.

Lake Forest outshot Illinois College 17 to eight. Adler led Illinois College with five shots, while McKenzie Murray contributed two. Goalkeeper Jesse Trost recorded five saves for Illinois College.

Illinois College will return home to face Beloit on Wednesday at England Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
