Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) has announced a partnership with Chapter, an independent Medicare adviser, to provide free consultations for current and newly eligible Medicare patients. The service is designed to help individuals choose the most suitable Medicare plan for their health care needs.
Chapter advisers offer guidance on Medicare Supplement (Medigap), Medicare Advantage, and prescription drug plans. They are available to assist those aged 65 or older during the Annual Enrollment Period, which runs from October 15 to December 7 each year. In addition, they provide support throughout the year for individuals who become eligible for Medicare when they turn 65.
Jeff Sterling, Vice President of Managed Care at HSHS, stated: “Choosing a Medicare plan can be overwhelming, with many factors to consider. By leveraging Chapter's technology and expertise, HSHS aims to provide our patients with the information they need to find the best fit for their needs.”
Cobi Blumenfeld-Gantz, CEO of Chapter, added: “Chapter utilizes a state-of-the-art platform to guide patients through the Medicare plan selection process. HSHS’ Mission to provide compassionate, high-quality health care aligns with our own vision at Chapter. Together, we can help individuals navigate the confusing world of Medicare, ensuring they get the right coverage.”
HSHS says it remains committed to providing access to compassionate and high-quality care throughout all stages of life.
