Illinois College freshman forward Katy Adler has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, according to an announcement from the league.

Adler, who is from Mead, Colorado, scored two goals and provided an assist as Illinois College secured two conference wins last week. In a 3-0 victory against Beloit, Adler scored the opening goal just over 15 minutes into the match. On Saturday, she assisted on Illinois College's first goal and later added a second goal in a 5-0 win over Cornell.

Adler currently leads her team in goals, assists, and points, with eight goals, five assists, and 21 points this season. The Lady Blues have started conference play with a 4-1 record, which is the best in program history.

Illinois College is scheduled to play Monmouth in another conference match tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.
