The Illinois College men's soccer team secured a 1-0 victory against Monmouth College in a Midwest Conference match held Wednesday afternoon at Peacock Memorial Athletic Park in Monmouth, Illinois.

The game's only goal came early, with J'aiden Cranwell-Meneses scoring at the 3:17 mark. He was assisted by Trevor Fallico and Jason Hernandez. Illinois College goalkeeper Daniel Happach recorded a shutout, making five saves during the match.

Illinois College attempted 17 shots compared to Monmouth's 12. Jacob Pelletier led the Blueboys with four shots, while Oscar Liogon Arenas, Tyler Lunning, and Cranwell-Meneses each contributed two shots.

With this win, Illinois College improved its overall record to 7-3-4 and evened its conference record at 2-2-2. Monmouth College fell to 3-6-3 overall and 0-4-1 in conference play.

The Blueboys have achieved a 14-4-4 record in Midwest Conference matches over the past three seasons.

Illinois College will continue its road schedule this weekend with a conference match at Grinnell College, set for a 3:30 p.m. kick-off.
