The Illinois College clay target team has advanced to second place in the trap category according to the latest standings released by the Clay Target League. The team now trails only Western Michigan, with a score of 2,028.50 compared to the Broncos' 2,190.50.
Illinois College maintained its second-place position in team skeet, totaling 375.5 points, while Montcalm Community College leads that category with 494 points. In sporting clays, Illinois College is currently ranked third with 343.5 points.
Ann Feldhake continues her performance as the top female competitor and is tied for fourth overall in trap, averaging 24.75. Hannah Hopper leads all females in skeet with an average of 23.63.
Hopper's teammates also occupy the top five positions in skeet: Korina Hecht is second at 20.75, Feldhake is third at 19.63, Reece Winebrinner ranks fourth at 18.63, and Morgan Tracey is fifth at 15.25.
In women's sporting clays, Hopper moved up to third place in the league with an average of 42.75; Hecht remains sixth (39), Feldhake holds seventh (34.75), and Winebrinner stays eighth (34).
For men's sporting clays, Andrew Magnus and Adam Stuckemeyer are tied for sixth among male competitors with averages of 42.
The Week 5 shoot for the fall season will take place this week at Jacksonville Sporting Club.
