• Meeting called to order at 1503 hours by President W. Rose.
Present were: President W. Rose, Secretary B. Osborne, Trustee J. Bolletta, Trustee K. Romadka and Bill Yocius of Mitchell, Vaught & Taylor Inc..
Absent were: Trustee B. Gorbett.
Election Results:
Welcome newly elected Trustee Brian H. Gorbett to the Chatham Firefighter’s Pension Board. His three (3) year term began on May 01, 2017 and ends on April 30, 2020.
Reorganize Board Positions:
Motion to approve re-appointment of William Rose as President of the Chatham Firefighter’s Pension Board was made by Secretary B. Osborne and seconded by Trustee J. Bolletta, motion passed.

Treasurers/Investment Committee Report:
• The Chatham Firefighter’s Pension Fund account balance reported on the April 13, 2017 Bank & Trust Company statement balance is $ 75,592.70. Previous balance was $ 73,196.82 with $ 3,224.54 in deposits, $ 854.09 in debits, and $ 25.43 in interest.
• Motion to accept Treasurers Report was made by Trustee J. Bolletta and seconded by Trustee K. Romadka , motion passed.

• Motion to move $ 65,000.00 from Bank & Trust Pension Fund account to the Chatham Firefighter’s Investment Portfolio at Charles Schwab was made by Secretary B. Osborne and seconded by Trustee J. Bolletta, motion passed.

• Bill Yocius of Mitchell, Vaught & Taylor Inc. Investment Advisors was present to review the Chatham Firefighter’s Pension Fund 4th quarter, 2016 Financial Report. Also received the Fourth Quarter of 2016 statement from Mitchell, Vaught &Taylor Inc. in the amount of $3,119.00.
• Motion to accept any Investments and Transactions completed by our Investment Advisor, Bill Yocius of Mitchell, Vaught & Taylor Inc. was made by Secretary B. Osborne and seconded by Trustee K. Romadka, motion passed.

• Motion to approve payment to Attorney Carolyn W. Clifford invoice(s) for cost of services concerning the Resolution and revisions to Rules and Forms in the amount of $ 382.50 was made by Trustee J. Bolletta and seconded by President W. Rose, motion passed.

Communications or Reports:
• Received correspondence from Charles Schwab about trade confirmation(s).
• Received March 01-31, 2017 statement period, trades, and explanation of fees and services from Charles Schwab and Mitchell, Vaught &Taylor Inc.

• Secretary B. Osborne presented a letter from Chatham Fire Protection District Board President Gerald Hughes re-appointing William Rose to a three year term, May 01, 2017 thru April 30, 2020, to the Chatham Firefighter’s Pension Board.
• We need to recognize and “Thank”, Trustee Philip G. Schumer who was elected on March 09, 2015 to the Chatham Firefighter’s Pension Fund. Thank You, for your time and service during the critical period of time that the Pension Board has just completed. If an opening occurs, we hope that you will consider applying for that position. Thanks Again!
• Next scheduled Chatham Firefighters Pension Board Meeting is 1500 hours on Wednesday, June 07, 2017.

Note: Just a reminder: Illinois Department of Insurance (DOI) has made a rule, that all Pension Board Trustee’s, must complete 16 hours of training annually by August 12th of each year.
