Sewer Committee

Mayor Luckey has tried to contact several people in regard to the $52,000 grant from Senator Bomke that

Curran was rewarded a couple years ago. He has talked to Sara Wojcicki Jimenez and Senator McCain, as

well as, sent a letter to the governor to try to determine if Curran will be receiving these funds for the sewer

project. Mr. Luckey still has not been given a response. The village may be only receiving a portion of this

grant.

Action Agenda

1. Curran is adopting the Cable Act and Right-of-Way Ordinance 2017-03. This ordinance establishes

standards for construction of facilities on right-of-way. This ordinance allows companies such as

Comcast to work on their equipment that is on utility poles that belong to Ameren. All board members

voted yes.

2. An Ordinance Authorizing use of Village Property for Village Sewer Installation Project 2017-04 was

voted on and adopted by the Village board members with all members in agreement.

3. The Intergovernmental Agreement for Animal Control was adopted with all votes in agreement.
