Sangamon County Employee Services Committee met March 5.

Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:

Members Present: Tony DelGiorno, Pam Deppe, Tim Krell, Jason Ratts, Vera Small

Members Absent: Jeff Thomas

Others Present: Dwayne Gab, Charlie Stratton, Denise E. McCrady (Secretary)

Chair Krell called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Krell requested a motion to approve the minutes of the February 5, 2018 meeting. A motion was made by DelGiorno and seconded by Ratts. Motion carried (5-0).

Dwayne Gab, Assistant State’s Attorney, addressed the Committee requesting approval to hire Robin Schmidt as a replacement Assistant State’s Attorney at an annual salary of $55,000 effective March 12, 2018. A motion to approve the request was made by Deppe and seconded by Ratts. Motion carried (5-0).

Gab requested approval to purchase a 2018 Ford F150 truck at a cost of $30,630 with a $10,000 trade-in of the current vehicle, a 2014 Ford F-150. The cost includes $2,196 for the required law enforcement accessories, and license and title fees. The truck will be purchased with the SAO’s discretionary funds. A motion to approve the request and forward to the County Board was made by DelGiorno and seconded by Deppe. Motion carried (5-0).

Krell requested a motion to approve the requisitions. A motion was made by Ratts and seconded by Smll.

Motion carried (5-0).

There was no old business or public comment.

A motion to adjourn was made Ratts and seconded by DelGiorno. Motion carried (5-0). Meeting adjourned
