Sewer Committee

Adam Palai attended this evening’s meeting. He discussed the possibility of asking for additional funding from USDA. He spoke with Dwight Reynolds who is the Area Director of the USDA. Mr. Reynolds indicated that Curran should be able to receive additional funding from them after Mr. Palai submits additional paperwork for it to be approved.

Board approved paying half of MEC bill.

Mayor indicated a resolution would need to be passed at the upcoming February meeting in order to put $52,000 of MFT funds toward the sewer project.

Board approved special meeting in March for the sewer project. Since it is already on the agenda, no publication is needed.

USDA wants a list of closing items. This was tabled until the February meeting.

Finance Committee

Treasurer will have a draft of next year's budget at the February meeting for the Board to view and possibly pass. She will get a copy to Mayor Luckey a few days before the meeting so he can view it ahead of time and make any revisions.
