Report: Glenbard spent $16,384 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Glenbard Township High School District 87 is up 13 percent from five years ago, according to a Sangamon Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $14,547 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $16,384 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 8600 to 7989.

Glenbard's spending in 2016-17 was 26 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
