In case House floor members were worried whether there was anything good to point out about Illinois, Rep. David Harris (R-Arlington Heights) put their minds at ease.
As usual, Harris used his point of personal privilege recently to note that the Springfield's Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport received an award.
“It was recognized by the federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for its outstanding efforts to ensure security,” Harris said.

TSA honored the airport with the National Partnership Award for its excellent efforts to collaborate with federal, state and local partners, Harris added.
“So the next time you fly through the Capital City Airport, you know that you are going through a safe airport as are all airports in Illinois,” Harris said.
