Graduates earn 212 degrees, certificates from Lincoln Christian University

About 55.7 percent of the 212 degrees and certificates handed out by the Lincoln Christian University in 2016-17 were to students in Theology and Religious Vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Lincoln conferred 57 bachelor's degrees and 53 master's degrees in Theology and Religious Vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in Organizational Leadership. Data shows the school gave out 19 master's degrees in Organizational Leadership, followed by 16 bachelor's degrees in Youth Ministry and 15 master's degrees in Bible/Biblical Studies.

The university enrolled 775 students for 2016-17, including 464 in undergraduate programs and 311 in graduate programs.
