62 percent of applicants to Lincoln Christian University were admitted for fall 2017

At Lincoln Christian University, 73 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 51 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Lincoln enrolled 789 students in fall 2017, including 466 in undergraduate and 323 in graduate programs, data shows. 11.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

73 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 22 percent are residents of other states. 5 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (82 percent) and Black or African American (7 percent).

The school admitted 62 percent of the 301 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 44 percent enrolled.
