City of Lincoln issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.
Saturday, August 4 - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Knights Action Park (east end golf range), 1700 Knights Recreation Drive
This is an all-day car show (all vehicles welcome) and features both air and ground displays. Air
displays include the Saints Flight Helicopter doing a flyover and landing in addition to an aircraft and
drone photo flyover. Ground displays include the Brandt’s #7 show car; a Sangamon County K-9 demo;
a fallen police officers and veterans tribute; a Rt. 66 tribute; 50th anniversary Cougar tribute and many
others. Awards at 4 p.m. presented by Abe Lincoln.
