Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Aug. 29.
Rhonda Jones has been named the August Employee of the Month at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Jones is a nurse technician in the acute care department at ALMH.
Jones was nominated by a grateful patient for the recognition. The patient was inspired to write the nomination because of her “good and caring spirit”. “She was very helpful whenever I needed her. She made me feel like I was important,” said the patients.
Jones has worked at ALMH for over 19 years. She was raised in Mt. Pulaski and resides in Chestnut with her husband, John. They have been married 39 years and have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
