Report: Park Ridge-Niles spent $16,281 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Park Ridge-Niles Community Consolidated School District 64 is up 9.4 percent from five years ago, according to a Sangamon Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $14,886 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $16,281 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 4351 to 4687.

Park Ridge-Niles's spending in 2017-18 was 22.1 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
