Report: Cissna Park spent $9,250 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Cissna Park Community Unit School District 6 is down 11.7 percent from five years ago, according to a Sangamon Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Iroquois County school district spent $10,476 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,250 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 293 to 301.

Cissna Park's spending in 2017-18 was 30.6 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
