Report: Lincoln spent $11,710 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Lincoln Community High School District 404 is down 0.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Sangamon Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Logan County school district spent $11,718 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,710 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 832 to 826.

Lincoln's spending in 2017-18 was 12.2 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
