Woodside home prices fall in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Woodside, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $32,000 while total sales decreased by 28.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $179,000 - a 15.2% decrease over the $211,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Woodside in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Woodside for 2017 was $4,211. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,567. This marks an decrease of 7.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
