Route 4/ Route 97 home prices fall in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Route 4/ Route 97, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $7,000 while total sales remained unchanged with nine homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,000 - a 7.2% decrease over the $97,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Route 4/ Route 97 in October 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Route 4/ Route 97 for 2017 was $1,853. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,907. This marks an decrease of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
