The data shows that 12 men and two women were among the parolees. Of the parolees sentenced for crimes involving alcohol, two were veterans, and the median age was 40. The youngest parolee was a 28-year-old man sentenced in 2016, and the oldest was a 57-year-old man sentenced in 2016.
The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Joyce Stuebinger. She was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2011 when she was 46 years old. She is now 53.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
