Rochester home prices rise in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Rochester rose by $7,200 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $161,000 - a 4.7% increase over the $153,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Rochester in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Rochester for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,247, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for May 2018.
