Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Sept. 29.
Come support Memorial's Transplant program & enjoy breakfast at the same time! Transplant Services will serve pancakes & bacon prepared by Applebees on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 8 - 10 a.m. Short Stacks for a Tall Cause will raise funds to support The Alan G. Birtch Center for Transplant Services at Memorial. Tickets are $5. Funds raised during this event will help with: transportation expenses, lodging before and after transplant, prescription costs, program development & education.
