Atlanta home prices rise in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Atlanta rose by $10,700 while total sales decreased by 10%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 36 homes sold, with a median sale price of $91,450 - a 13.3% increase over the $80,750 median sale price for the previous year. There were 40 homes sold in Atlanta in 2017.

The median sales tax in Atlanta for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,805, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for 2018.
