Lincoln home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Lincoln fell by $1,950 while total sales decreased by 47.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 75 homes sold, with a median sale price of $73,000 - a 2.6% decrease over the $74,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 142 homes sold in Lincoln in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,814, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
