2019 and this was seconded by Commissioner Johnson. All others voiced approval. Minutes are approved.
Old Business - None
New Business
Fred & Peggy Ostermeier Minor Subdivision - Minor subdivision changes were discussed regarding the Fred and Peggy Ostermeier Subdivision. Currently,
they have a house located at the site where they own other property (acres) located in the country outside of Chatham. The owners would like the land
on which the house is located to be re-zoned. This change would facilitate the owners being able to move into the house at a later time or sell.
There is a water line currently to this property and the property has been surveyed.
Commissioner Hay motioned to approve the final plat for the Fred and Peggy Ostermeier Subdivision. This was seconded by Commissioner Johnson.
Motion approved.
Spartan Park Property Split - This agenda item is on hold.
Discussion of modifications to 111.17 outdoor Cafe Permit 10pm entertainment curfew and exit/entry gates - The discussion of this item on
the agenda pertained to considerations regarding any kind of outdoor restaurant/cafe actitivies such as: music/entertainment, parking, approval
of neighbors around the restaurant, time constraints (closing hours), and disposal of any kind of waste such as cups, etc. Some changes will need
to be made to the permit requirements in the near future.
More discussion needed at the next meeting.
New Zoning Classifications Discussion - New zoning classifications are needed so that the new microbrewery in town will be able to meet the requirements
needed to enforce safety, peace and quiet in the neighborhoods. Other microbreweries may eventually come to town and need to know where they
can locate their businesses in Chatham. Specific considerations to research are: what is the normal noise decibel level for neighborhoods in Chatham,
and how many decibels does outdoor music need to be to meet the rules and zoning requirements. How much parking will be available for customers,
and will it interfere with the normal flow of traffic?
