Village of Greenview Village Board met Feb. 3.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Greenview Village Board met for a regular scheduled board meeting on Monday, February 3rd, 2020. President Kevin Curry called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and all present participated in the pledge of allegiance. The roll call indicated that Trustees Sarah Heavner, Roy Lee, Joseph Wohler, Norman Hofmann, Raymond VanCleve and Patrick Feagans were present. Other village personnel present were Village Employee Ken Ratliff, Police Chief John Holt, Village Clerk Monica Brumm and Village Treasurer Jerry Cottingham.

Public Participation:

No Public Participation

Ken Ratliff gave the maintenance report for January. A motion was made by Trustee Wohler and seconded by Trustee VanCleve to approve the report. All present voted aye. Report filed into record.

Chief Holt gave the police report for January. A motion was made by Trustee Lee and seconded by Trustee Wohler to approve the report. All present voted aye. Report filed into record.

The minutes from the January 20th, 2019 board meeting were reviewed by each board member. A motion made by Trustee Hofmann and seconded by Trustee Heavner to approve the minutes. Minutes approved and filed in record.

Income/Expense/Bill Report- The bills were reviewed by each board member. Approval of the income/expense report was roll called, all present in favor voted aye. Filed into record.

Old Business-

President Curry advised that we received an update on the sewer, everything seems to be progressing according to the timetable given. An ad was placed for the RFP’s and bids are due 2/10/20 at the Woodard & Curran Office.

New Business-

Trustee Heavner advised that she had received a copy of the EPA requirement report and had 45 days to respond. The only two requirements were that we have a backup generator and that we have the backflow preventer inspected yearly. Discussion was had and Trustee Heavner will follow up with the EPA.

Committee Reports:

Trustee Feagans: Nothing

Trustee Heavner: Nothing

Trustee VanCleve: Nothing

Trustee Wohler: Nothing

Trustee Lee: Discussion was had on purchasing TSheets, which is a mobile time tracking/GPS app for the guys phone cost was $345.60 per year. A motion was made by Trustee Lee and seconded by Trustee VanCleve to purchase the program/app. All present in favor voted aye. Motion passed. Also, discussion was had on that during inclement weather it needs to be know that if a resident has an issue that they need to call a board member about streets getting cleared and not the Village Employees. Was mentioned that we need to get a schedule of who is on call.

Trustee Hofmann: Nothing

Treasurer: Advised would need to get budget numbers soon, the fiscal year end is coming up in April and new budget will begin May 1st.

Clerk: Advised that received the bond from the Dollar General Store and had ordered a 1” water meter for them and will bill them directly for that. Advised that ID Signs, the company that does the sign work for Dollar General called to make sure there were no problems with locations/heights of signs. Received a call from Darrin LaHood’s office wanting to use Village Hall on February 27, 2020 from 10 am – 12 pm to where residents can come in and speak with him.

President: Advised that at the next meeting February 17th, 2020 he will be gone, but Trustee Lee will be running the meeting.

Meeting adjourned at 7:35 pm

At the conclusion of all business, the announcement of the next meeting was made. The next meeting will be held on Monday February 17th, 2020 at 7:00 pm.
