Sangamon County Liquor Committee met Feb. 19.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

A quorum was present. Chair Hills called the meeting to order at 5:01 pm. She asked for a motion to approve the January 15th minutes. Miller made a motion to approve and Tjelmeland seconded. Motion carried (7-0).

New Business:

 Case Hearing #20-LLCC-01 at 5:15pm

-#238 Guitars and Cadillacs Saloon Inc., Springfield, IL 62702 (Glen Weisgerber)

Temporary License:

 2020-005 JT Catering DBA Pour Bar Services (Lawrence Kennedy)

-February 29, 2020 & March 1, 2020

-Il State Fairgrounds, Orr Building, 801 E. Sangamon Ave., Springfield, IL 62702

-Boat Show Expo Scaife made a motion to approve & Miller seconded. Motion carried (7-0)

Reports:

Trustin Harrison

 Video gaming report –was discussed

Tavern incident report- was discussed.

3am Bars report-was discussed

Old Business:

 (Tabled at 1/15/20 meeting) #259-1AA, 217 Video Poker (Robert Anderson)

-1701 N. Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, IL 62702 Hall made a motion to approve & Forsyth seconded. Motion carried (7-0)

The hearing for Guitars & Cadillacs began at 530p.

Hall made a motion to go into closed session at 539p to discuss rendering a decision on license #238 and Small seconded. motion carried (8-0)

Tjelmeland made a motion to come out of closed session at 547p and Small seconded. motion carried (8-0)

Commissioner O’Neill let Guitars & Cadillacs know that the fine will be $100.

There was no public comment.

Miller made a motion to adjourn & Hall seconded. Motion carried (8-0)

Meeting adjourned at 5:52 p.m.
