80 percent of applicants to Lincoln College were admitted for fall 2018

At Lincoln College, 73 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Lincoln enrolled 968 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 9.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

86 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 12 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (44 percent) and white (41 percent).

The school admitted 80 percent of the 1,705 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 20 percent enrolled.
