Rochester Fire Protection District responded to 66 calls in 2018 - 5.7 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Rochester included 42 fires - 19 structure fires, two vehicle fires and 21 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $155,300 in fire loss - or about $3,698 per fire.

The department also received 23 false calls, including one malicious call and 22 other false calls.

The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related injury and two civilian non-fire injuries.

The Rochester Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $416,012 in 2018.
