Village of Greenview Village Board Met July 19.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Greenview Village Board met for a regular scheduled board meeting. President Curry called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and all present participated in the pledge of allegiance. The roll call indicated that Trustees Norman Hofmann, Sarah Heavner, Liz Soldwedel, Patrick Feagans and Raymond VanCleve, were present. Other village personnel present were John Holt, Trey Castles, Zoning Officer Braden Brown, and Village Clerk Monica Brumm

Public Participation:

No Public Participation

Trey Castles gave the maintenance report for June. A motion was made by Trustee Feagans and seconded by Trustee Heavner to approve the maintenance report. All present voted aye. Report filed into record.

Braden Brown gave the zoning report for June. A motion was made by Trustee Heavner and seconded by Trustee Soldwedel to approve the zoning report. All present voted aye. Report filed into record.

John Holt gave the treasurer report for June. A motion was made by Trustee Soldwedel and seconded by Trustee VanCleve to approve the treasurer report. All present voted aye. Report filed into record.

The minutes from the July 6th, 2021, board meeting was reviewed by each board member. A motion made by Trustee Feagans and seconded by Trustee Heavner to approve the minutes. Minutes approved and filed into record.

Income/Expense/Bill Report- The bills were reviewed by each board member. A correction was made to upcoming income of the water bills the wrong amount was typed in. Approval of the income/expense report was roll called, all present in favor voted aye. Filed into record.

New Business

1. A motion was made by Trustee Hofmann and seconded by Trustee Feagans to approve the appointment of Brandon Wellhausen to fill the open Trustee seat on the board. Motion was roll called, all present in favor voted aye. Motion passed.

2. President Curry swore in Brandon Wellhausen as a new Village Board Trustee.

Committee Reports:

Trustee Feagans: Nothing

Trustee Heavner: Nothing

Trustee Hofmann: Discussion had on insurance information and claims that are being filed for damages to Village Hall and Maintenance Building. Discussion had on life insurance for the employees. Advised the school sewer system was inspected by the EPA and they are good.

Trustee Soldwedel: Nothing

Trustee VanCleve: Nothing

Clerk: Discussion was had on re-doing the committees. Advised that the United Church will be doing a Give & Take shop on Saturdays.

President: Gave update on the sewer project.

Meeting adjourned at 8:13 pm.

At the conclusion of all business, the announcement of the next meeting was made. The next meeting will be held on Monday August 2nd, 2021, at 7:00 pm.
