Logan County Board met Aug. 26.

The members of the Logan County Board convened in a Special Regular Board Meeting in the Orr Building, 628 Broadway Street, in Lincoln, Illinois. Chair Emily Davenport called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag was led by Mr. Blankenship.
The Logan County Clerk, Theresa Moore, called roll. Members present were Davenport, Blankenship, Estill, Farmer, Jenness, Nelson, Sanders, Schaffenacker, Welch, Wessbecher. Members Hepler and Leesman were absent.
Guests present for the special meeting were Angela Reiners, Diane Farmer, Kate Newman, Kelly Elias, Brad Hauge, Penny Thomas, and Katherine Yaple.
Motion made by Mr. Jenness, seconded by Mrs. Welch, to approve LO 20-21 98 Appointment of Jennifer Bryant to the position of Supervisor of Assessments to serve a four (4) year term, from September 20, 2021 to September 19, 2025 at a salary of $72,000.00 for each year of the 4 year term. The motion passed on a roll call vote with all ayes.
Motion by Mr. Nelson, seconded by Mr. Jenness, to adjourn the August 26, 2021 Special Regular Board Meeting at 5:19 p.m. The motion passed on a voice vote with all ayes.
