Village of Greenview Village Board met Sept. 2.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Greenview Village Board met for a regular scheduled board meeting. President Curry called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and all present participated in the pledge of allegiance. The roll call indicated that Trustees Norman Hofmann, Liz Soldwedel, Sarah Heavner, Patrick Feagans, Brandon Wellhausen, and Raymond VanCleve, were present. Other village personnel present were John Holt.

Public Participation:

Tracy from Grosch Irrigation gave the board a report on what it cost to install a new well to replace the existing failing well.

John Holt gave the police report for August. A motion was made by Trustee Heavner and seconded by Trustee VanCleve to approve the police report. All present voted aye. Report filed into record.

The minutes from the August 16th, 2021, board meeting was reviewed by each board member. A motion made by Trustee Hofmann and seconded by Trustee Wellhausen to approve the minutes. Minutes approved and filed into record.

Income/Expense/Bill Report- The bills were reviewed by each board member. Approval of the income/expense report was roll called, all present in favor voted aye. Filed into record.

Old Business

1. A motion was made by Trustee VanCleve and seconded by Trustee Wellhausen to approve renewal of the Landmark Illinois membership for $35

New Business

1. A motion was made by Trustee VanCleve and seconded by Trustee Wellhausen to increase the price for rock delivery from $15 to $25

Committee Reports:

Trustee Feagans: Nothing

Trustee Heavner: They will be starting the Volunteer Park Committee Meetings again soon. Trustee Hofmann: Discussed different grant opportunities available.

Trustee Soldwedel: Nothing

Trustee VanCleve: Working on locating sidewalks in need of repair and getting bids. Trustee Wellhausen: Gave update on employee life insurance and reported that there were streetlights out. Clerk: Absent

President: Advised that would have the golf cart in the parade if anyone would like to join him.

At the conclusion of all business, the announcement of the next meeting was made. The next meeting will be held on Monday September 20th, 2021, at 7:00 pm.
