August 2019: Home prices in Lincoln increased

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Lincoln rose by $5,000 while total sales decreased by 23.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $74,500 - a 7.2% increase over the $69,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Lincoln in August 2018.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for 2019 was $1,863. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,822. This marks an increase of 2.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
