Falling home prices in Lincoln in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Lincoln fell by $1,050 while total sales increased by 63.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 98 homes sold, with a median sale price of $88,850 - a 1.2% decrease over the $89,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 60 homes sold in Lincoln in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,863, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
