How did home prices perform in Atlanta during the third quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Atlanta rose by $6,000 while total sales decreased by 30.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $109,000 - a 5.8% increase over the $103,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Atlanta in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Atlanta for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,913, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
