Village of Chatham Planning Commission met Aug. 18.

A. Call to Order
Chairman Jason Jones called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
1. Roll Call
Present: Richard Funderburg; Dave Johnson; John Moore; Jon Sturgeon; Mark Bingamon; Jason Jones; Joe Bolletta was present after arriving late.
Absent: Dan Lewis; Jane Hay.
Others Present: Village Manager Pat McCarthy; Village Trustee Carl Try.

B. Consent Agenda
1. Approve Minutes from the Planning Commission Meeting on Thursday June 16th, 2022
There was an error from the Meeting Minutes from June 16, 2022. With the corrected error, a motion was made by Jon Sturgeon to approve the June 16, 2022 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes. This motion was seconded by Mark Bingamon. By an affirmative voice vote of the members present, the motion passed and the amended meeting minutes were approved.

There was no Old Business discussed at this meeting.
D. New Business
1. Review a Location & Sketch Map for Manor Hill II phase 2
Village Manager Pat McCarthy provided an overview of the Sketch Map for Manor Hill II phase 2. Please see attachments within the meeting agenda. Terry Brown is the local developer for this subdivision. General discussion amongst Village Manager McCarthy and members of the Commission. A motion was made by Dave Johnson to approve the Location and Sketch Map for Manor Hill II phase 2. This motion was seconded by Mark Bingamon. By a 6-0-3 vote the motion passed. The vote was as follows: Richard Funderburg – yes; Dave Johnson – yes; John Moore – yes; Mark Bingamon – yes; Jon Sturgeon – yes; Jason Jones – yes. Absent – Jane Hay, Dan Lewis and Joe Bolletta.
2. Review a Preliminary Plan for Manor Hill II phase 2
Village Manager McCarthy provided an overview of the Preliminary Plan for Manor Hill II phase 2.
A motion was made by Dave Johnson to approve the Preliminary Plan for Manor Hill II phase 2. This motion was seconded by Mark Bingamon. By a 7-0-2 vote the motion passed. The vote was as follows: Richard Funderburg – yes; Dave Johnson – yes; John Moore – yes; Mark Bingamon – yes; Jon Sturgeon – yes; Joe Bolletta (who arrived before the start of the discussion of the Preliminary Plan) – yes; Jason Jones – yes. Absent – Jane Hay and Dan Lewis.
E. Meeting Dates
1. Planning Commission 6:00 PM Municipal Hall September 15th, 2022
