Village of Greenview Village Board met June 19.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Greenview Village Board met for a regularly scheduled board meeting on Monday June 19, 2023. President Kevin Curry called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and all present participated in the pledge of allegiance. The roll call indicated that Trustees Pamela Rouse, Patrick Feagans and Jamie Booth were present. Other village personnel present were John Holt, and Village Clerk Monica Brumm.

Public Participation:

No public participation

John Holt gave the treasurer report. A motion was made by Trustee Booth and seconded by Trustee Rouse to approve the report as presented. All present in favor voted aye. Report filed into record.

John Holt gave the zoning report. A motion was made by Trustee Feagans and seconded by Trustee Booth to approve the report as presented. All present in favor voted aye. Report filed into record.

The minutes from June 5, 2023, board meeting was reviewed by each board member. A motion was made by Trustee Feagans and seconded by Trustee Booth to approve the minutes. Minutes approved and filed into record.

Income/Expense/Bill Report Each board member reviewed the bills. A motion was made by Trustee Feagans and seconded by Trustee Booth to approve the payment of all bills. Motion was roll called, all present in favor voted aye. Motion passed.

Old BusinessNew Business1. A motion was made by Trustee Feagans and seconded by Trustee Booth to accept the Village Clerk resignation as of 06/28/23. All present in favor voted aye. Motion passed.

2. A motion was made by Trustee Rouse and seconded by Trustee Booth to move the July 3rd meeting to July 10th. All present in favor voted aye. Motion passed.

Committee Reports:

Trustee Feagans: Meter reading equipment working well.

Trustee Hofmann: Absent

Trustee Soldwedel: Absent

Trustee Booth: Advised looking at sidewalks that need repaired.

Trustee Smith: Absent

Trustee Rouse: Discussion had on zoning committee working on solar panel ordinance.

Treasurer: Discussion had on different ways to generate revenue for the General Fund. Also, recommendation to have attorney at the meeting quarterly, or bi-annually.

Clerk: Advised board of insurance claim status. Also advised that received gift cards from company that picked the flowers off the gum ball trees.

President: Advised that the Police Agreement will be in effect starting 07/01/23. Discussion had on who would be on the signature cards at the bank. It was agreed that Trustee Rouse and Trustee Feagans would be signers.

The meeting adjourned at 9:35 pm.

At the conclusion of all business, the announcement of the next meeting was made. The next meeting will be held on Monday July 10, 2023, at 7:00 pm.
