On Sunday, February 25, former St. Laurence High School standout Johnny Wendling’s current college team, the UIS Prairie Stars, won 17-7 in their NCAA Division II game against the Davenport Panthers.

The game took place in Springfield, Illinois. This was their fourth matchup against the Davenport Panthers this season.

The Prairie Stars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 1 at 1 p.m. in Springfield, Illinois against Trevecca Nazarene Trojans.
