On Sunday, February 25, former Springfield High School standout Gavin Wahlbrink’s current college team, the UIS Prairie Stars, won 17-7 in their NCAA Division II game against the Davenport Panthers.

The game took place in Springfield, Illinois. This was their fourth matchup against the Davenport Panthers this season.

The Prairie Stars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 1 at 1 p.m. in Springfield, Illinois against Trevecca Nazarene Trojans.
