Sheriff, Jack Campbell 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Deputy at an annual salary range of $59,715.14 to $62,351 effective 9/1/24; the previous employee will be promoted on 8/19/24.

2. Approval to hire a replacement Deputy at an annual salary range of $59,715.14 to $62,351 effective 8/19/24; the previous employee left the position on 6/30/24 at an annual salary of $60,811.88 and will leave the payroll system on 7/19/24.

3. Approval to hire a replacement Correctional Officer at an annual salary of $41,573 effective 8/19/24; the previous employee was promoted on 6/16/24 and left the position at an annual salary of $41,573. 

4. Approval to hire a replacement Control Room Operator at an annual salary of $37,551 effective 8/19/24; the previous employee left the position on 5/29/24 at an annual salary of $60,466 and left the payroll system on 6/7/24. 

5. Approval to promote Deputy Amie Robinson to a Deputy Sergeant effective 8/19/24 with a change in salary from $85,954.79 to $96,269.28. 

6. Approval to promote Deputy Sergeant John Osmer to a Deputy Lieutenant effective 8/19/24 with a change in salary from $103,870.50 to $108,507.31.

LLWA, Michelle Griebler 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Workforce Specialist at an annual salary of $42,000 effective 9/2/24; the previous employee will leave the position on 8/2/24 at an annual salary of $42,000 and will leave the payroll system on 8/16/24. Requesting waiver of the 30 day lag. This position is 100% grant funded. 

Community Resources, Dave MacDonna 

1. Resolution to approve the application and forward to the County Board for approval of the LIHEAP Grant (25-254038) with anticipated grant revenue of $1,522,964; matching funds not required 

2. Resolution to approve the application and forward to the County Board for approval of the Weatherization Grant (24-221038) with anticipated grant revenue of $652,218; matching funds not required 

3. Resolution to approve the application and forward to the County Board for approval of the Weatherization Grant (25-251038) with anticipated grant revenue of $286,495' matching funds not required

Circuit Clerk, Joe Roesch 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Deputy Clerk-Records Division at an annual salary of $36,929.11 effective 8/19/24; the previous employee left the position on 7/12/24 at an annual salary of $36,929.11 and left the payroll system on 7/19/24. 

State's Attorney, John Milhiser 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Victim Witness Advocate at an annual salary of $40,000 effective on or after 8/13/24; the previous employee left the position on 12/8/23 at an annual salary of $42,394 and left the payroll system on 12/22/23.

2. Approval to hire a replacement Clerk Typist at an annual salary of up to $34,000 effective on or after 8/19/24; the previous employee left the position on 7/11/24 at an annual salary of $33,300 and left the payroll system on 7/19/24. 

3. Approval to hire a Supreme Court 711 Intern (Seasonal) at an annual salary of $5,000 effective on or after 8/13/24. This position is for approximately 8-10 weeks.

OEM, Bill Lee 

1. Approval to hire an Emergency Management Specialist/OEM Rescue Squad Chief effective 8/14/24 at an annual salary of up to $65,000. This is a new position. 

Information Systems, Kim Jackson 

1. Approve temporary assignment pay for Susan Bachman, Network Analyst II effective 7/1/24. Her salary will change from $74,739.52 to $85,000. 

Regional Planning. Molly Berns 

1. Pre-Travel Approval for Jason Sass, Principal Transportation Planner, to attend IDOT's annual Fall Planning Conference in Fairview Heights, IL from 10/2- 10/4/24 in the amount of $502.60. 

2. Pre-Travel Approval for Shannan Karrick, Senior Transportation Planner, to attend IDOT's annual Fall Planning Conference in Fairview Heights, IL from 10/2- 10/4/24 in the amount of $502.60.

SMART, Kate Downing 

1. Pre-Travel Approval for Kate Downing, Director of Transportation, to attend the IPTA Fall Conference in Moline, IL from 9/4-9/6/24 in the amount of $867.70. 

Child Advocacy, Denise Johnson 

1. Resolution to approve the application and forward to the County Board for approval of the Dual Status Youth Initiative Grant from the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts with anticipated grant revenue of $33,876; matching funds not required
