The Illinois College women's tennis team secured a 6-1 victory over Southwestern Illinois College on Thursday in Belleville, Ill. This win improved the Lady Blues' season record to 6-4.

The match began with Illinois College taking two of the three doubles matches to earn the first point. Michelle Maag and Lily Ingram were victorious at No. 2 doubles, while Chloe Plough and Hannah Lueke won at No. 3 doubles.

In singles play, the Lady Blues won five out of six contests. Victories were recorded by Maag (No. 2), Lily Ingram (No. 4), Sophie Muir (No. 3), Madison Eastin (No. 5), and Sabrina Ingram (No. 6).

Next, the Lady Blues will travel to Elmhurst, Ill., on Saturday for a pair of dual matches against Elmhurst at 9:00 a.m., followed by Concordia of Chicago at noon.
