Illinois College's Cam Dailey and Timo Kato have been named Midwest Conference Football Performers of the Week, as announced by the league. Dailey received the award for his defensive performance, while Kato was honored for his special teams play following the Blueboys' 44-14 victory over Ripon in their home opener at England Stadium.

Dailey, a junior linebacker from Oneonta, Alabama, scored a touchdown on a 56-yard fumble recovery and led the Illinois College defense with ten total tackles during the game.

Kato, a freshman wide receiver from Niles, Illinois, had an 89-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and contributed two solo tackles on special teams.

The Blueboys will be off this weekend and are scheduled to return to action on October 5th when they travel to Monmouth.
